![]() | I can't believe I stumbled upon this website. If I remember correctly I attended Camp Clear during the summer of 1976 and was only 7 years old, but remember this place vividly. I also attended with my older cousins Janice and Sandy. Everything about the camp was fun from catching bull frogs to the right of the pond and learning how to swim as, well as the outdoor activities and warming up in the outdoor sauna "I believe I was considred a minnow at the time". One of the most special moments to this day, was the prayer from one of the counselors during the time I was extremely ill(too much swimming maybe?) on my second/last week. I cleared up about 2 days later. It was a very special moment for me and will never forget it. Thank you and God Bless. ![]() | I was first a camper in 1985 at age 8 and was a camper every year and then staff until I was 19 years old! I grew up with a single father, who was not a Christian, but my grandfather lived near camp and encouraged my father to send my siblings and I to be near him (he was not a Christian either). I went for all of the weeks my age would permit until I became staff working first in laundry, then kitchen and later as a counselor. Camp is where I first learned about the Lord, got saved and had my baptism in the pond at age 13! I lost my mother tragically at age 16 and I believe in my heart if it wasn't for knowing the Lord and having the security and comfort of camp every summer and meeting some of the best friends of my life, I believe my life would have taken a much different, dangerous path. I ended up going going to Christian colleges to continue my journey in my faith and after over 20 years of praying for my father, he too became saved! Now, at age 34, all of my nieces and nephews continue the camp legacy in our family by going and so do all three of my step-sons who have came to know the Lord from me, all because of Camp Clear. My favorite life memories are at camp and as an adult, I still get excited every summer driving the kids there and seeing my old "home and family".![]() Date of Posting: 28 July 2011 Posted By: Erin (McCarthy) Finley saved, christian, social worker, married with three amazing step-sons and a wonderful husband, Sandown, NH |

![]() | The acceptance, fun and love that I experienced at Camp Clear gave me confidence and faith that has lasted my entire life. My camp friends helped me to stay strong in my beliefs even during the difficult high school years. The best gift the counselors and fellow campers gave me was to pray constantly for my hearts desire - my father's salvation. How ecstatic I was a few years ago when my father, a man of God, went to service with me at Camp Clear's Chapel. Thank you Camp Clear for all you've done for my family.![]() Date of Posting: 03 March 2011 Posted By: Amanda Dipasqua Curtis |

![]() | I first attended Camp Clear in 1990 when I was almost 10 years old. (Thanks to Sarah Neas!) I don't think I can adequately put into words all that Camp Clear did for me or my life! I am from a single parent home and the love I felt & received from the amazing staff, while I was a camper, to this day still touches my heart! Jesus' love was evident there & shined through all the people there. After years of being a camper I worked at camp & that was such an unbelievable privilege!I can honestly say, besides being married & having my son, the summers I spent at Camp Clear were some of the best times in my life! Some of my closest friends in the world I met at camp & I thank God daily for putting such an impacting place in my path!![]() Date of Posting: 24 February 2011 Posted By: Katie Rainbow (Gunner) aka Spunkie ;) Northborough,MA |
![]() | Camp Clear is where I have spent the last 5 summers of my life, as a camper, and serving as a kitchen staff, CIT, and counselor. Through camp I got baptized, and grew stronger in my faith as I have seen all that God has done with it, and the people serving, over the years. I love Seeing people come back year after year changed, and wanting more of the fellowship they grew to love here. The life long friends you make, the speakers, worshipping at the camp fire. Camp to me is little oasis where the atmoshpere is christians encouraging and building one another up in Christ and placing him first in their life. Seeking God daily and praying for one another. Everyone is full of love here. ![]() Date of Posting: 24 February 2011 Posted By: Danielle Raftery |
